Objective

Korea Automobile Insurance Repair Research & Training Center, KART, has been established in order to improve benefits for insurance policy holders and insurance companies as a subsidiary of Korea Insurance Development Institute, KIDI. KART also contributes to the development of the insurance market through various activities, such as research on vehicle safety for lowering personal injuries from traffic accidents, research on damageability and repairability of vehicles for reducing the repair cost, research on anti vehicle theft, and training for insurance engineers on automobile technology and estimating, etc.
